by Albert H. Baylis, From Creation To The Cross Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download From Creation To The Cross book, Most Christians don't quite know what to do with the first half of the Bible. Some are fascinated by the historical sweep of the Old Testament. Others are blessed by its poetry. Still others focus on its prophecies. But what are the heart and soul of the Old Testament? In From Creation to the Cross, Al Baylis is a guide who shares with us his love for, and profound understanding of, the Old Testament. He walks us through the Old Testament, pointing out along the way perspectives and insights that leave us with a new, personal understanding of these thirty-nine books -- and more importantly, of the God of the Old Testament, who lovingly prepared the way before sending his Son. As Bruce Wilkinson puts it in the Foreword, "I could almost picture (Baylis) as a seasoned rabbi surrounded by a huddle of eager listeners. He doesn't simply teach the Old Testament; it's as if he personally reminisces through it." From Creation to the Cross is one of those rare books that speaks to a wide range of readers, from high school students to homemakers to college professors. This revised and expanded edition of On the Way to Jesus makes this unique and highly readable approach to the first half of the Bible available once again. It is ideally suited for use in Bible study groups.
by Rhonda Gross, From Creation To The Cross Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download From Creation To The Cross book, From the first moment of creation, God had a plan. He knew that sin would enter into the perfect world He had created and threaten the relationship between Him and us. Instead of letting that relationship be destroyed, He had a plan to save us from our sins and restore the lost relationship. That wondrous plan stretched all the way from creation to the cross, and it continues today in the hearts of every believer.
by C. Benjamin Wilkes, The Bridge From Creation To Redemption Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download The Bridge From Creation To Redemption book, If there is a true, genuine plan coming from an all omnipotent God, the creator of all mankind, and it is specially directed to all people of His creation, and that plan is focused with the intent to reconcile and save humanity back to the Creator...here is that plan. This book explains from a Christian perspective what God’s true plan entails and what we have to do to accept this plan. It is a plan that has been around for over two thousand years, but over the ages, the complexity of this plan has been obscured and watered down in its interpretation. There comes a time when this God of ours attempts to touch us spiritually with His plan. It is the responsibility of all mankind to wake up and open up their hearts and minds to what God is trying to tell us.
by Michael L. Henderson, Those Who Are Wise Will Shine Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download Those Who Are Wise Will Shine book, Taken from Daniel 12:3, "Those Who Are Wise Will Shine" uncovers God's awesome power at work in the lives of those He chose to bear His message of Redemption, from Adam to Christ. The lives of these faithful brightly shined forth with His presence in the face of a world full of darkness. They knew He spoke to them, called them, and in turn, they were constrained to follow Him. There is no better way to shine for the Lord than to know with determined faith, who He really is and that where He leads, you will faithfully follow! These ancient pioneers of faith displayed just that! This work seeks to take the readers back to the basics of Redemption and Sanctification though the unfolding of the "Redemptive Thread" that links the blood lineage of our ancient forefathers to the rise of our Messiah, Jesus Christ. It ends with the joyous events still to come at His Second Advent. From creation to the cross, redemption and sanctification are certainly defined as two of the zealous desires of the Lord. The overall central theme of the Holy Scripture is redemption. Humanity is fallen, separated from God, and in dire need of reconciliation. The Lord’s perfect gift of redemption reconciles the breach. His work in us is what follows. Immediately He begins that work, and it will never be complete until we see Him face-to-face!! He calls us to be holy and set apart for His service. Never underestimate the value He has placed on you as a vessel chosen with purpose to be His emissary shining His light into this dark world. It is God’s foundational will for each of us to emanate the fragrance of Christ in all He calls us to be. Today, Christians in most places are still in need of the milk of the word. They lead a very shallow and powerless Christian life. It is one of the reasons the church is so lifeless in many places. It is not enough to know of the elementary principles of Christianity, we must also understand their meaning in terms of God's continual work in us. We must take them to heart. This volume seeks to lay a foundation of trusting God by understanding how God worked in the lives of past saints to make sure His message of redemption went unhindered so it could be ours today. Millions in the past millennia have gone beyond the superficial and with God's help, stood firmly and boldly on His side! A proper understanding of Redemption will only lead you to rejoice with “joy unspeakable” as you stand in unrestricted service to God. He has liberated us to fulfill our redemptive purpose. He truly has set us free! Hebrews 13:9b teaches us, “For it is good that the heart be established by grace...” The word established comes from ß?ßa??? which means to be firm or secure, literally propped up, as in a stick holding up a tent. If our heart is truly established by the true teaching of Grace, which comes from the nature of the Father, then when we fall, we still stand. Rejoice in Him...For Redemption provides just that!
by Dr. Fred Christian, From Creation To Kingdom Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download From Creation To Kingdom book, The late twentieth century witnessed a shift in the thinking and teaching of theologians on how to "rightly divide the word of truth (II Tim. 2:15)." This trend is continuing in the twenty-first century and is now being strenuously promoted by those who vehemently oppose traditional dispensational teaching. The greatest challenges to traditional Dispensational Theology in this present hour come from those who espouse the teachings of Reformed Covenant Theology and what has become known as Progressive Dispensationalism. The problem stems from the fact that there are some misconceptions about dispensational teaching that need to be addressed and some weaknesses concerning opposing viewpoints that need to be exposed. This challenge is not being vigorously confronted in the present hour because of the popularity and prominence of those who espouse these theologically divergent systems and the reluctance of the proponents of dispensationalism to be labeled as divisive or fanatic.

by Andrew Dickson White, From Creation To Evolution Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download From Creation To Evolution book, The Origin of Species had come into the theological world like a plow into an ant-hill. Everywhere those who were thus rudely awakened from their old comfort and repose had swarmed forth angry and confused. Reviews, sermons, books light and heavy, came flying at the new thinker from all sides. The keynote was struck at once in the Quarterly Review by Wilberforce, Bishop of Oxford. He declared that Darwin was guilty of "a tendency to limit God's glory in creation"; that "the principle of natural selection is absolutely incompatible with the word of God"; that it "contradicts the revealed relations of creation to its Creator"; that it is "inconsistent with the fullness of his glory"; that it is "a dishonoring view of Nature"; and the bishop ended by pointing Darwin's attention to "a simpler explanation of the presence of these strange forms among the works of God," that cause being—"the fall of Adam." - - Nor did the bishop's services end here; at the meeting of the British Association for the Advancement of Science he again disported himself in the tide of popular applause. Referring to the ideas of Darwin, who was absent on account of illness, the bishop in a public speech congratulated himself that he was not descended from a monkey. The reply came from Huxley, who said in substance: "If I had to choose, I would prefer to be a descendant of a humble monkey rather than of a man who employs his knowledge and eloquence in misrepresenting those who are wearing out their lives in the search for truth."
